Customizing a Pivot Table in Excel

I don’t know about you but I use Pivot Tables all the time. It’s a great flexible way to view your data in many different ways. Now chances are there will be times when you want to hide certain items in your table. Or only look at a few of those items instead of everything. Up until now I’d used the built in “filter” button that automatically comes with the table. But that can be a pain if you have a lot of items, you have to scroll down through the list check or unchecking all those items.

Well the folks over at the Contextures blog have this handy post on how to make that process easier. Check it out.
